NAD+, short for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, is an essential coenzyme found in all cells in our body, specifically in the mitochondria, the powerhouses of the cells. In mitochondria NAD+ enables the transfer of energy released from fatty acids and glucose, so that it can be converted into cellular energy. NAD+ also works as a helper molecule for proteins that regulate other vital cellular functions, the most prominent ones being the sirtuins.
IV Therapy ensures that the body obtains an adequate supply of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants to enable proper functioning of cells.
Most vitamins and minerals are not produced by the body but are taken from the food we consume.
